Hi, I’m Afua – founder of Amour Hair & Beauty, a qualified hairstylist, educator, and a woman of faith who believes in nurturing beauty from the inside out. This journey is more than just hair—it’s my ministry.

I created Amour as a space where women can be cared for, supported, and equipped. Through every appointment, class, and consultation, I am led by my belief that we are all beautifully and wonderfully made—and that includes our hair in its natural form.

With over 20 years of experience and a passion for education, I help women embrace their curls, coils, and kinks with purpose, patience, and prayer.

As a woman, I understand that hair is our crown of glory, it is one of our most valued possessions. That’s why I do more than just hair styling. I am the type of hairdresser who bravely refuses to do your hair or give you a certain treatment / service if I find that it does not benefit your hair. I also offer hair and scalp analysis and advise you on the best treatment for your hair when dealing with hair and scalp problems such as flaking, dry, brittle hair, frizzy hair, hair loss, chemically damaged hair.
